With wild blackberries we often think of blackberry jam, but nature is generous, reserve part of your harvest for this blackberry liqueur, to be consumed 40 days after harvest, keep a small bottle for the Christmas period.

Recipe ingredients

  • Blackberry liqueur recipe for 1 liter:
  • 500g of ripe blackberries
  • 75 cl of fruit alcohol
  • 20 cl of mineral water
  • 400g caster sugar
  • 1 clove
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Add the blackberries to a large jar.
  2. Pour the alcohol over the blackberries.
  3. Let stand 40 days, stirring regularly.
  4. Heat the water with the sugar, simmer for 15 minutes so that the syrup is well diluted.
  5. Add cinnamon and cloves.
  6. Let the syrup cool.
  7. Pour the cold syrup over the blackberry alcohol.
  8. Filter with a Chinese, then bottle.
  9. Store your blackberry cream for Christmas.
