Recipe for mackerel in white wine, I’ve been wanting to make homemade mackerel for some time now, I like it so much. Mackerel is a very attractive fish with its price. Easy to make fish recipe, cook the mackerel in the oven with a few slices of onions and carrots, then refrigerate for a few days and finally mackerel in white wine for lunch at noon.

Recipe ingredients

  • Mackerel recipe in white wine for 4 people:
  • 4 mackerel.
  • 25 cl of court bouillon.
  • 25 cl of pinot gris
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 6 juniper berries
  • 3 cloves
  • 10 peppercorns
  • 4 sprigs of thyme

Instructions

  1. Empty the mackerel.
  2. Rinse the fish thoroughly under the tap to remove all traces of blood.
  3. Take a long dish with high edges that goes in the oven.
  4. Peel and chop the onions.
  5. Peel and thinly slice the carrots
  6. Place the chopped onion in the bottom of the dish, then the carrots.
  7. Add 6 juniper berries
  8. Place the mackerel in the dish.
  9. Cover with the court bouillon.
  10. Add the white wine.
  11. Add the lemon juice
  12. Bake at 180 ° for 30 minutes.
  13. Let cool in the oven.
  14. Cover with cling film and let rest in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
