Honey chicken tagine recipe for 4 people
Ingredients :

  • 1 kg of chicken
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 2 teaspoons curry
  • 1 half teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 Roma tomatoes
  • 2 small zucchini
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 orange pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of almonds
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon of flat-leaf parsley.

Instructions

  1. Cut the vegetables into small squares and the chicken into 4.
  2. Pour the oil into the tagine and let it heat up a bit.
  3. Add the spices (curry, cumin, cinnamon), wait for the smell of the spices to flatter the nostrils.
  4. Grill the chicken pieces and coat them well with spices and add the honey.
  5. Turn the chicken regularly.
  6. Reserve the chicken when it is grilled.
  7. Add all the cut vegetables and half of the slivered almonds, stir well and as soon as they are soaked.
  8. Add the chicken pieces.
  9. Close the tagine and bake in a hot oven at 190 ° for 40 minutes.
  10. Just before serving, chop the mint and parsley, add to the tagine with the rest of the almonds and serve.
