Recipe: Pizza merguez
Merguez pizza recipe, this is one of my favorite pizzas, I like when they have character. Slightly spicy, all loved even the girls to whom I preferred a more classic pizza. Of course, above all, you have to find beautiful merguez, made in the tradition of the halal butcher’s shop, always on sale of quality. Once again, the most important thing in pizza is the pizza dough, for a year we have been making it in the robot, it is only happiness.
Recipe ingredients
- Merguez Pizza recipe for 2 people:
- 1 can of peeled tomatoes
- 15 basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- 2 teaspoons of harissa
- 1 teaspoon of capers
- 10 pitted black olives
- 2 merguez
- 5 Sun-dried tomato petals
- 125 g mozzarella
- 50 g Emmental
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 200 °
- Roll out the pizza dough.
- Reduce the can of peeled tomatoes, then mix them.
- Add the harissa, then stir.
- Scatter the tomato reduction all over the dough.
- Sow the grated Emmental cheese on the tomato.
- Cut the black olives into slices, then arrange them on the cheese.
- Slice the merguez and place them on the pizza.
- Scatter the capers.
- Slice the tomatoes and divide them.
- Cut the mozzarella into cubes, then scatter it over the pizza.
- Sow the dried coriander
- Place in a very hot oven, lower rack for 25 to 30 minutes
