Recipe ingredients

  • Sugar cake recipe for 8 people:
  • 100g of sugar
  • 150g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 cl of whole liquid cream
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • flavor of your choice (vanilla, orange blossom water or flavored alcohol)
  • 30g butter
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar to cover


  1. Blanch the sugar with the eggs.
  2. Add the liquid cream, the vanilla sugar, the yeast and the perfume.
  3. Add flour and salt.
  4. Mix until you obtain a smooth paste, without lumps, relatively liquid.
  5. Pour the mixture into a pan and line with parchment paper.
  6. Spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar then add shavings of butter.
  8. Put in the oven preheated to 200 degrees.
  9. Cook for 30 minutes depending on the oven.
