  • ½ liter of liquid cream
  • Sprig of thyme
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 80 g butter
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Peel the potatoes, then rinse them.

  3. Butter a baking dish.
  4. Arrange the potatoes like the scales of a fish, on each level put a few pieces of butter.
  5. Slice a clove of garlic that you will distribute over your layers.
  6. Salt and pepper.

  9. Preheat your oven to 180 ° and cook for 2 to 3 hours.
  10. As soon as your potatoes have taken a beautiful brown color, cover them with aluminum foil.
