Venison fondue

It’s been a long time since I had a fondue at home, a friend gave me a gift of a beautiful leg of deer very young. I admit that I hesitated a little, but after several advices I made up my mind and what a discovery of a very tasty meat and an unfailing tenderness, you can try this deer fondue, all my friends were delighted. I especially like the beef fondue, but since this venison fondue recipe, I’m having a hard time choosing.

A thought to all those connected from abroad in love with French cuisine and its wines, here is a great opportunity for you to buy a quality wine, to accompany my recipe for Deer Fondue. I selected this Corbières Red wine from the Château de Mattes Saran estate in Portel in the Aude. After tasting it, I loved this red wine from Corbières from Mr and Mrs Brouillat Arnaud

The 2013 Chevreuse vintage, aged in oak barrels, Corbières appellation
This wine from the 2013 harvest, with the vast majority as Syrah and Grenache as the grape variety, from vines planted in 1988, it will be drunk at 18 °, with 13.8 ° and its black cherry color, after an initial woodiness that will evolve over the time. Distinguished by a favorite in 2004 from the Guide Hachette des vins, awarded with the silver medal in 2007 by the competition of independent winegrowers.
