Recipe: Chocolate and praline cake
Recipe for chocolate and praline cake, beware, here is a cake revisited by a great pastry chef, we are still full of pleasure. I love all the chocolate desserts here it is married with pink pralines that I have mixed. They give a different consistency to the cake. It’s like a big candy, especially for the pink part, the two got mixed up a bit when baking. More and more pleasure to taste these new generation cakes.
Recipe ingredients
- Chocolate and praline cake recipe for 6 people:
- Pink praline part
- 70 g (4) egg yolks
- 105 g caster sugar
- 55 g heavy cream
- 85 g flour
- 35 g butter
- 2 g baking powder
- 150 g of praline
- Chocolate party
- 70 g (4) egg yolks
- 95 g caster sugar
- 55 g heavy cream
- 65 g flour
- 30g butter
- 2 g baking powder
- 40 g chocolate chips
- 15 gr of cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 140 °
- Chocolate party
- Sift the flour and baking powder.
- Place the sugar, flour, baking powder and vanilla powder in the food processor.
- Mix for a few seconds.
- Separate the eggs.
- Add the egg yolks.
- Add the softened butter.
- Pour in the cream.
- Let the food processor turn until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
- Add the cocoa powder.
- Finish with the addition of nuggets, a little bit of the mixer.
- Reserve in the refrigerator, the time to prepare the mold.
- Praline part
- Mix the pink pralines to make them powder
- Prepare the dough as for chocolate.
- Add the praline powder.
- Reserve in the refrigerator, the time to prepare the mold.
- Line the pan with parchment paper, starting with the long sides.
- Butter and flour if you don’t line it, it’s up to you.
- Pour the preparation into the lined mold, starting with the chocolate dough.
- Then add praline paste.
- Finish with the chocolate dough.
- Bake in the hot oven for 1 hour and a half.
- Unmold the hot cake and place on a wire rack to cool.
